For me,

Queen, Free Trade Hall '75......at their peak as a hard rock band. Bo Rap just released

REM, at the Gallery or Ritz.....

Prince, Lovesexy Tour '88

But so many more too.....Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thin Lizzy, Cheap Trick, Mott The Hoople, Lenny Kravitz, Cocteau Twins, Ramones (with Talking Heads as support) Damned, Stone Roses at International. Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Japan....

That said, watching the P-Funk at the Ritz in December was very special indeed.

Saw the Parliament/Funkadelic roadshow at the old Belle Vue back in 78, it was about 4-5 hours long. I'd been, lets say, entertaining the ladies of North West England that weekend so I was goosed when I made it to the concert. I fell asleep about 3 hours in. Legend in these parts to this day! "How the fuck could you sleep thru that, it was so fucking loud!"
