Clattenburg (Update p59 - not selected next weekend)

Re: Clattenburg

Marios was a yellow-he is just high risk every time he plays and could easily have gone.

Twattenburg is a clown we all know that - but the best game he had was when we played the rags at the swamp last season.

He could easily have sent off Balotelli. Even I was getting wound up by his actions and was reaching for my red card. Surprised he came out in the second half frankly.

What for exactly?

Stop watching MotD, listening to the so called pundits, reading the papers and start thinking for yourself.

Balo got a joke of a yellow for an absolute nothing challenge and then got stuck in with a wonderfully timed tackle, cleanly but strongly winning the ball.

Easily sent off my arse!

Exactly, what did he do to merit a possible sending off? I must have missed it.

there was a extraordinary blatant penalty on richards in that game.

it was the first half and the result still was 0-1 if i remember well , so it could have been decisive

On your large agenda thread last year when you listed about 20 reasons city would be stopped from winning the league...

You list me clattenburgs mistakes then?

if i did them all this season it would be bedtime yesterday though he was at us from the off, he carded us and pulled us all the time, yes he carded west brom but nowhere near enough for their fouling. i still think the card for jimmy was harsh, understandable but harsh, made worse by the glee and the speed he went to his pocket.
he wasnt going to book long for the deliberate handball, he booked him for descent.which brings me to the penalty, it was a nailed on pen and he gave it a yard outside, a yard, it was a yard INSIDE the box.
the sad part about this is i only got to find at at knutsford that he was the ref, i was tempted to turn back, the fact that a match going fan feels that way before a ball is kicked is a sad indictment of how that ref is percieved. with good reason.
my guess is you have never watched a city game live in your life, you therefore dont get cheated, cheated out of hundereds of pounds and many many hours travelling all over the country. i wont say never but i rarely miss a game but i'm not going to the london games barring west ham, i'm committed to that with friends, the others though i'll duck. city will still be cheated but i will have saved a fewe hundered pounds to spend on european games. to be fair to twatenburg, foy and webb are are bad.

no agenda? dont make me fucking laugh.
With just the milner quote and the handball quote your post is ridiculous
Oh and nice dig on the bigger city fan,and ive never been because someone disagrees with you..

The only agenda we should all be worrying about is us retaining the title. DN..Cookie is a regular at games I can assure you so this "never been to the game" lark sounds a little childish, especially coming from a mod.
There is no agenda. Mario is a fool for getting involved.Milners was a nailed on red as it was a goalscoring opportunity that he denied. It diesn't matter if it is last man or not.It is if he prevents a clear goal scoring chance, which he did. I didn't know there was a time limit on how fast the ref is allowed to pull his red card out. Give it up-No agenda

The Crouch decision was a joke, no doubt...

I thought all yellows were deserved today except Mario's first. Once he'd given him his yellow, he could have given him another for sure... I thought the red was fair enough on replay, Tevez also could had a yellow....so no complaints from me considering what he's done to us in the past (Balo red v 'Pool, Clichy red v Arse)

This^^ Milners was definitely and undoubtedly a red card. Mario was very very lucky to be still on the field in the second half - there are many referees that wouldn't have tollerated his petulence.

Clattenburg did make mistakes today, fortunately the big ones favoured us.

That equaliser from Dzeko could easily have been disallowed it wasn't a foul but we've had them struck off before (Swansea last season).

What we showed yesterday was champions form and pure class.

Why could it have been disallowed then if not a foul? That in itself would say he a fucking cheat

Long should have been booked for showing his tshirt message as mario was at the swamp by the same ref

The guy is crap

Isn't the rule something like if the player lifts the shirt over his head or removes it completely then he'll be booked. But if he only lifts it up to reveal his chest, then he's okay? I'm fairly sure Tevez did the latter once or twice in the first few games of the season, and wasn't carded.

2 tackles that were highlighted on match of the day. Then back chatting the ref.Dissent is a yellow so he was a lucky boy.

Kompany had to usher him away once during play, and didn't Barry do something similar as the players were coming off at HT as well?
