Clattenburg watch. The derby...

So you don't think Rooney got away with it then
Yes; he did. And I'm sure some rags will say the same about Bravo's challenge on Rooney. My point is, people on here were predicting 90 minutes of iffy decisions going against us. Which patently didn't happen. Clattenburg gave a run of the mill, par for the course reffing performance these days. Not brilliant, not diabolical. Certainly nowhere near the level of incompetence-ness of his two performances in the Spurs games last season (think he did both them games, didn't he?). Dean had a far worse game at Stoke. Just my opinion though. I'm sure others will disagree with me.

I agree with that Jim, had a solid game and let the game flow quite well.

If we hadn't been in the spotlight recently regarding refereeing decisions, he'd have sent bravo off and given a pen.
Luckily, he bottled it.

Only a couples of gripes, why did he warn the players on one of our corners, let them grapple and if theres a penalty in there then just give it, they were warned at the start of the season. Rooney possibly could have picked up 2 yellows today as well. Other than that good performance.

I thought he let them do as they pleased all game tbh, pretty standard refereeing against us where they were allowed to wrestle, pull back and tackle late without any fear of being punished. Fellaini and Rooney must have committed 4 or 5 certain yellow card offences, i'm only surprised that he even gave them one booking. I've no idea why people are even suggesting he Bravo tackle was a red card, but I guess the game has gone to the point where you aren't allowed tackles where you get the ball first and then don't follow through into people? The "handball" is bordering on laughable. Generally though he managed to avoid deciding the game and ruining it so by refereeing standards that would have to go down as a win for him.
