The fact that this thread has carried on as much as it has, even though he's done nothing wrong says a lot.
There will always be people who want to give him shit.
Give over.
3 on-target attempts to save on Sunday and only 1 saved.
Both very difficult to save, but the fact is that he only saves one for every one he lets in - the worst record in the Premier League.
Lets ignore the fact that he just doesn't make any great saves at all and just stick to the fact that good keepers will save 2.5 for every one they let in and and the best keepers save above 3 for every one they let in.

You've said yourself that the 2 goals that went in were not his fault...but then you blame him for them.

It really is pathetic.

Nope I blame PGMOL/Pawson/Friend for Sunday who did us over good and proper.
But to say he is up to the job is laughable.

So again, you're saying the goals he let in were almost impossible to save, it's not his fault.

...but it's still his fault because he only saved the one shot which was savable?

Have you had your morning coffee?

The fact is he's not done anything wrong since coming back into the side, which is why he's staying in.

He didn't do anything majorly wrong on Sunday (except his passing which unusually for him was pretty poor) but he didn't do anything great either and more to the point he never does. We need to get rid or we will fail again next season.
Sorry this fact isn't to your liking but, I guess, truth hurts.

A good keeper will save 2.5 and the best keepers save above 3.

Presumably his form at City is not typical of why Pep brought him to us. Passing ability must be good and requires confidence so got to assume that is not there at the moment.
Surely he is capable of normal goalkeeping skills otherwise we would just be playing any tall defensive player in goal and telling him he can use his hands.

He is letting Pep down and needs to toughen up for the PL, obviously his confidence is down so maybe he needs a psychiatrist.

Neither had willy but he got dropped.

Did you see the goal bravo let in against hull. My border terrier would have stopped it.
