Claudio Bravo - 2016/2017 performances (continued)

I do think we have actually forgotten that keepers can win games for us. Just watching motd the number of 'what a save' comments from the commentator . There are so called unstoppable shots being saved by their keepers . Out of the last 6 shots he has conceded everyone.

I just don't accept that his job is to just save easy shots.

Anyway I think he looks like his confidence is a bit fried. I think it would be best for the football club if we gave someone else a go and took him out of it for a bit. I think willy looked better against West Ham. He has more presence. He is not the long term answer but neither is bravo.

either do what we did with Joe and get him warm with some other saves to make, or stop leaving him with the only 2 things to all game being save the pretty damn impossible.

We've not concede many goals at all this season where I've stopped to think "fucking hell no keeper would get to that".

Like I said earlier, I'm not blaming him for the goals but you expect your keeper to pull something off now and then, it's getting a bit ridiculous.

So,even though you recognise the fact neither goal was his fault, neither being saveable, you then criticise him for not making a better effort of not being able to save it!

Lol,YCNMIU.

Bravo isnt the long term answer, that much is clear........but he did fuck all wrong yesterday, and,i'm not directing this directly at you,but at everyone who is determined to find fault, just give the lad a fucking break.

your best bet is to drag the mrs back upstairs for your sunday morning blow job, cos you sure have got out of the bed a little frustrated today!!

im talking about his positioning and body language. not whether the goals could be saved. he isnt pro-active enough in his movement and that comes down to his confidence.

but dont let that stop you on your soap box with your 'worlds biggest man city badge' on. you crack on fella.

He's probably got no confidence because those that are supposed to be supporting him can't wait to slag him off and blame him. I bet the cheering by some fans when he caught the ball a few weeks back worked wonders for his confidence though

i had a thread shut down about city fans moaning about city fans moaning, and i had you in mind....im pretty sure you will have moaned at the mods to close it, gives you something to do at least i suppose.
Nah I didn't moan about it. The mods must have realised you were talking shite of their own accord.

Not sure I blamed him per se, but gave reasons for why he and City continue to let easy goals in that other keepers would do better with (2nd today).

I do think his lack of height and age are big factors. I guess we can blame his parents rather than Bravo on both counts.

Loris, who gifted us 2 goals today also made a couple of fine saves...fully stretched out. Bravo cannot and would not have made those saves. I think Lloris and other keepers could have done better with Spurs' 2nd today.

Other than a few people on this thread I have heard no one - at the match or otherwise - that has even remotely suggested he could have had any chance whatsoever with either goal. Considering the scrutiny he has been under in the media for the past 7 days that tells its own story.

You could literally look at any goal that's ever been scored and try and find some way that it could have been prevented. De gea could have saved stoke''s goal today. Do you also blame him for not saving milner's penalty last week? Other keepers save penalties all the time. So in your world de gea has cost united 4 points in two games. What a shit keeper.

Criticise when it's justified but give the bloke a fucking break - especially when we're talking about one of our own players. What really pleased me was the support in the ground was absolutely fantastic last night - a welcome relief after the past 7 days on here.

Well said.
