Claudio Bravo - 2016/2017 performances (continued)

Bravo having a decent performance yesterday. No chance to stop the goals.

1st goal:
Walker's perfect cross way too sharp and from Kola's head to Alli. Clichy and Ota should have done better. Don't judge on hindsight. No chance for any keeper.

2nd goal:
Perfect shot just inside the post, too sharp again, from that distance. No chance as well. Feel sorry for that lad. He must be so strong to perform like that against the whole media industry and 98% of City followers. Really tough times for him.

It's weird again that the only shots on goal are in and luckily for spurs too good to be stopped by Bravo - but that's the way it is.

Everybody knows that our problem is just converting chances. Ask Sergio, or Raheem. Even Zab, Silva, Ota having decent chances. Incredible!
But you know I'm not 22 anymore and I can see what an immense performance we have seen by the lads against a strong team.
We just have to go on and the goals will come. There is no other way.

Sure.
I thought the go to excuse for ripping into our own players is that we have the right to an opinion? So if you dont mind, ill keep posting in this car crash discussion

His distribution is indeed excellent.
He's so calm on the ball and waits for one of the midfield 3 to earn space.
He looks much better on the ball in thec433/4141 system.

His glove work needs to get back to the levels he is capable of, but his passing is great.

Many just think it's tapping it side to side, of which a lot it is.
But when the option arises he'll split the press easily.
If forced to go long, it's not just hung up for the opposing centre backs to head back, it's dipping at their midriff and gives our smaller forwards every chance of winning the ball or a foul.
It's hard currently to be convinced by him but if he gets his glove work back on track and we continue with yesterday's and the early seasons system we'll see the benefits.
If he fails to rediscover his form we'll need a keeper with equal confidence and distribution.
Fans longing for a return of Hart need to move on, there's more chance of Muric playing.
Who's excellent from what I've seen!

Love the way he absolves himself of any responsibility putting recent woes down to the team and not his inability to save a shot

Not really at fault for the goals but top keepers make great saves. He doesn't make ANY great saves.

I wouldn't mind the odd blunder if he could pull off some decent saves...

Its the opposite with Bravo, the odd save and blunders galore!

Guy at the game yesterday told me "we didn't buy him to stop shots !". As he was deadly serious I was lost for words.

The same bellyaching that was aimed at Willy. I still stick by my opinion for a keeper who apparently doesn't save shots hasn't done too badly in his career.

I think you misunderstood. He wasn't criticising him he was supporting him. It was the irony of his statement I was commenting on.
