I'm sure you used to be able to apply for special dispensation to make a signing if a keeper was out for a long time. I wonder if that's still a thing.
Hopefully not, he's doing a great job, I'd quite happily sacrifice Delph instead. (Fabian if you're reading mate I'm sorry but Danilo is already injured and it probably won't be Zinchenko).Hopefully it's that
Luckily with Kev, we are only playing one game a week at the moment, our next 5 games are against teams that were either promoted last season or the season before and there are two international breaks coming up. We can just about get away with the injury to Bravo as long as nothing happens to Ederson. Two long term injuries in less than a week at the start of the season.
Shocking bad luck for both players and in training as well.
The football gods always seem to be against us when it comes to injuries.
No more please.
Don't you have to lose multiple keepers before that kicks in?I'm sure you used to be able to apply for special dispensation to make a signing if a keeper was out for a long time. I wonder if that's still a thing.
Personally I wish the guy the very best and hope that the injury doesn't lose him for the season. However, I'm not going to rewrite history, he has been disappointing since joining which is why the club set a Goalkeeper record fee at the time to replace him. It does leave us in a tricky spot, but honestly not as bad as when we lost Mendy last year without a LB at the club, I have every confidence that the club will be able to manage the problem short term and hopefully he will be able to return in the new year. In terms of the Champions League does that have any impact as it will free up a space atleast until the knockout rounds?
If he couldn’t turn him into a footballer.... ;-)I have faith in Pep.
He'll turn Mangala into a world class keeper....
