The deadline was the 8th of August for transfers, free agents can be signed at any time. You're right about the space in the squad part but that's not what was originally posted, was it?

What would you have done if you were in charge? Which one of Gunn, Hart, or Muric would've been perfect as #3?

are not loan deals allowed till the end of the month? Butland is playing lower league and wants to get into the England first team,a big loan fee yes but butland would have the chance of playing with the best players in the league for the cups at least, maybe his only chance of winning something
 
This is a shame, he might not be fan's first choice, but a capable backup and performed admirably in the league cup. Time to shine Grimshaw.
 
Jack Gaughan reporting that we're looking to recall Muric from his loan, which I think would be the right call. He's been impressive whenever I've seen him.
