It's incredible what some people post on here, often wonder if they've been watching the same players/games!

Could make 10+ page thread with the errors Bravo has made.

Unfortunate about his injury from the point of view of no one wants to see a player hurt, but hardly a loss. Makes the league cup games less stressful to watch at least!

I can think of errors in the derby and the Barca game, give me some more examples.

Making errors was never Bravo's issue, he made no more than most, in fact I'd say Ederson made more last season than Bravo did the season before, it was saving shots that was the problem.

Surely not saving a simple shot would be classed as an error?

You would think we could have inserted a clause in case of emergency with compensation to NAC.

Easy to say with hindsight but I would have thought was standard.

If we're going that route then I agree he was error strewn but I personally don't class weak attempts at saves as errors.

That's similar to the point I'm trying to make to Bill (above). Funny how perceptions can differ. For example, last season MOTD/Sky pundits were bigging up Butland - conveniently ignoring the 68 conceded and regular howlers that he usually followed up with a Hollywood dive for a harmless shot 'he's made up for the error'. De Gea had a bad Euro 2016 (virtual media silence). He had an abysmal World Cup (again, downplayed in the media). In my view, he is, unfortunately, the world's best, but he is immune from criticism from the Manure dominated media, whereas the media can't wait to screech if Bravo doesn't catch the ball first time.

Similarly, you would not think that Joe had the best record of any GK in Europe in qualy for Russia - didn't concede a qualy goal for 11.5 months and when he did eventually concede he got slaughtered. Like Joe, Bravo is a media whipping boy.
