Claudio Bravo Injury - Muric Recalled from NAC Breda

Now that Bravo is likely out for some time and UEFA have a requirement for 3 goalkeepers to be named in Champions league squad ( 2 from list A and 1 from list B) who do we think City will bring in on an emergency loan. Emergency loans are accepted during anytime in season if a club does not have 2players from list A.

Kevin Trapp of PSG is now 3rd choice behind Areola and Buffon and PSG are actively trying to move him out.
Fraser Forster is 3rd choice at Southampton behind McCarthy and Gunn and again they are actively looking for a loan for him with Turkish clubs the most interested.
Kiki Casilla 2nd choice at Madrid last season but now 3rd choice due to Madrid signing Courtois.

Would be fine with any of those I think.

We have not submitted our squad to UEFA yet so would imagine Grimshaw would be on list B as he is still an academy player due to being only 20.

We are not allowed emergency loan. Ederson would need to be injured too for that

Looks like we can't get Muric and there is no really half decent free agents. Grimshaw will most likely be number 2 I guess

We can get an emergency loan if we don’t have at least 2 keepers free of injury from players listed on list A (Ederson + .....) and list B (Grimshaw).

This is the UEFA Champions league regs 2018 - 2022 article 45.04.

I do rate Muric highly but I think he will benefit from playing at NAC.

If Grimshaw isn't good enough to be number 2 now, then he wasn't good enough to be number 3 when Bravo was fit. I don't understand this premise of keeping him around if he obviously wasn't good enough, as this is an issue which can arise at any time.

20 is still very young for a keeper, he does need games though granted, but not ready for first team football at City in my opinion. The odd game but not if Ederson should also fall injured for a month or so.

Well that's when a player shows his true worth. Was Pope ready when he got thrown into the Burnley team last year?

Grimshaw doesn't really need to play more than the "odd game" to be fair. Early rounds of LC and FA Cup maybe + potential CL dead rubbers no more than that.

I guess this will end Bravo's City career isn't he in the last year of his contract? At almost 34 I don't see it being extended.
