That he's 4th choice at the club he's supported all his life that happens to be one of the best teams in the world haha. He won't be complaining

Grimshaw was fifth choice at the start of the summer behind Ederson, Bravo, Gunn and Muric. He would have been realistic.

Grimshaw is the older of the two. Also clubs very seldom call in a 3rd goalkeeper when one of them is injured. Our problem seems to be that we do not have any faith in Grimshaw. Could be wrong but that is the way I am reading it.

So why is he still with the club. He's not playing any football and assuming Muric is now back up to Ederson over the next few months then realistically he is 4th choice keeper.

3rd choice as bravo won't be back this season i reckon,i don't know why he is here still,is he playing EDS games? perhaps we thought he would be further along after training with the first team,he is not ready to be no 2 it seems

Maybe we are just keeping hold of Grimshaw for homegrown purposes? He will be 21 during next season so perfect for filling the HG quota in the Champions League.

Or, despite clipperty’s comments on the DeBruyne injury last week, that the candlepool players haven’t been actively encouraged, by others that nestle within that vile club, to “seriously nobble him” by the time two clubs are due to meet on October the 7th. Let’s hope not, but if I’m honest, I wouldn’t rule it out.
