Given that we've recalled Muric, I don't think we'll sign a veteran in January unless Ederson has suffered a season-ending injury as well between now and then -- it doesn't make any sense at this point. City are putting their trust in him to be the #2 all season I suspect.

Yeah I agree, though its not impossible that we could send Muric back to NAC in January, with grateful thanks for their co-operation, so anything beyond Jan 1st is speculation for now.
 
Happy with Muric coming back although it's a shame he'll miss week in week out football with NAC.

Don't mind the idea of Grimshaw replacing him at NAC but I think we'll keep both as backups to Ederson.
 
If he's going to play in the League and FA Cups and cover for Ederson then I expect he'll come on as a sub when convenient. The more match experience he gets the better.
 
Could anyone who's seen a lot of Muric give us an honest assessment?

Is he ready for PL / CL football?

How is he with his feet? Can we realistically expect him to come in for cup games and it not affect our ability to play out from the back?

Pre season he looked more confident than ever in a city shirt I thought.

So found an interview from the official city YouTube page below. Apologies if already shared.

Seems like a good lad. Head screwed on. And we have Jovetic to thank for him choosing City as his Montenegran hero! That or the fact his mother knew a guy at city haha.
Excited to see him get his chance. I can also confirm he is giant.
There's also footage of him losing his rag with someone in a game and full on nutting the striker. So hopefully his temper is now in check!!
