Gundogan is a brilliant signing. I only mentioned Bravo because it's a one man position whereas we have Fernandinho and Silva who can play in CM who are on a similar level. Likewise with De Bruyne and Sterling, both have improved our team/squad but we have a lot of options in those areas. Goalkeeper was a position that needed a massive upgrade in my opinion, very excited about this signing.

I see your point but I still believe you are massively underestimating Gundogan, he is amongst the best centre midfielders in the world currently.

I think buying a keeper like bravo is not gonna make any difference at all. Why not use hart or cabba. Bravo has shown many mistakes borh in club and national team.
Play out fok the back. Please define that for me?? So hart can not play out from the back is what you saying???
Playing out from the back; the keeper being confident enough to pass it short to a defender whilst under pressure from the opposition players, rather than kicking it long to our small striker/wingers.

Caballero has been preferred to Hart as he's been deemed superior in this aspect, yet watching the Stoke game alone you'll see far, far too many instances where he kicks simple passes straight out of play. Could Hart do it? Unlikely given what we've seen of him over the many years he's been here, distribution has always been one of his weaknesses & clearly Pep has decided he won't be able to reach the required standard.

Watch any video of Bravo & you'll see he's far more comfortable doing this, watch any Barcelona game & you'll see the same, he's at home with that style of play. It's blindingly obvious why we're after a keeper like him.

Add on top of that the statistics you'll find on this thread that seem to indicate Bravo is a better shot-stopper than Hart & it's hard to come to the conclusion that this is a bad bit of business, especially for the quoted figures.

We've had some incredibly dumb arguments on the Transfer forum but this one really stands out. Maybe time to talk about where the hell Bravo is?
You can't say that for certain, I haven't gotten involved yet.

Someone bring me up to speed.

Credit to you for answering that, mate. Was a couple of ridiculous posts that didn't deserve the measured reply it got.

Yeah, not everyone is as clued up as the majority on here though. Took the effort to check his past history to make sure they were legitimate questions though & I think they were aha.
