Cant wait to get this guy in, orchestrating the back 4/3 with his footwork, something Hart doesnt have it in him to do, unfortunately
The first couple of minutes of that video have got me ridiculously excited about what we can expect from the team with Bravo playing for us. No doubt there'll be fuckups along the way, but it's going to be thrilling to watch.

Im at a stage where I can accept mistakes and the inevitable fu*k up with this style, as the mistakes have to happen for us to learn
As much as I expect a mistake, I really cant recall seeing Bravo every once in his 2/3 (?) years at barca passing it to an opposing forward or being tackled when trying to play out
Its what this guy does, its his way, he aint gonna be the one who cocks up.. probably going to be a defender learning how to play this way that does but its not important
Its like saturday, I was fully calm at 1-1 because its about the bigger picture, and we are going to get where we need to be
We can add 6/7 players into saturdays team before we call it the first choice, but this guy is the Key

What on earth does being in a 3 team league have to do with his shot stopping
This forum is awash with blinded opinions half the time..

Bravo is a far superior keeper
Whether barca and the 2 madrids are totally dominant is not important, he still has shots to save
The players in la liga can kick a football at the goal and a shot from a Sevilla forward is the same as a hit from a west brom left back
Theyre professional footballers and he has to pull off top saves whether he plays for barca or chile

I want the best for Hart in the long run, and I hope he keeps his England place; Everton is the best option for him and dont be surprised if he does have a worldy against us
That wont mean its a mistake to make this change though, we MUST TRUST the guy weve chased for 5 years..

I was stating that teams park the bus against Barca so how many shots would he have to save per match

That's what it's got to do with being a 3 team league

Wind your neck in

Like I stated can't have realistic view of him as not watched him much

The fact of the matter is, whoever you play against be it CL teams or Div 2 in the cup they will have a shot on target during a match your gk has to save what ever comes at him

Ive always wonderd why joe fucking hoofed it and gave posession away for years ive thought it but just got used to it. Still be gutted to see joe go though hes kept us in so many games in a comical defense. One worry is bravo is 33 years old. Big gamble from pep.

33 is nothing for a goalie, he can have 5 years more at the top. It also gives us time to mature Gunn or Ruilli maybe. How much are they talking transfer fee wise?

Bravo was 31 when he changed his game style moving from Real Sociedad to Barca, see my stats above. Hart is 29, 2 years younger than when Bravo "learnt new Tricks" after joining Barca.

Look at the stats when he was at Real Sociedad, (see my earlier post), his distribution success and pass length were very similar to Hart's current stats.

Since joining Barca he does many much shorter passes and his passing success has massively improved.

This is a perfect example of why you can't just look up stats to try and prove a point.

Bravo has always been good with his feet, that's why a club who need a keeper like that were interested in him to begin with.

A keeper may be coached to kick it long and have bad pass %, but that doesn't make him bad on the ball, and very few people I've seen are using Passing stats when saying Joe isn't good enough - we're using our eyes.

Because you only have to look at him with the ball at his feet to see he's uncomfortable and technically lacking.

Similarly you might see a keeper who is very good with their feet but be in a team where it's not taken advantage of.

Bravo didn't learn any new tricks, he just went to a team which exploited his existing ability on the ball.

Yeah i get what your saying lads. Just hope this works as for me its a big gamble that i hope pays off. Also what happend to people fighting for there place joe looked asif he had given up. When an outfield player loses his place they fight for it. Kolarov for example never been his biggest fan but you cant knock his attitude. Is joe losing his place down to lack of pre season or is the writing on the wall for him?
