He's ok, that's it, could a great manager not develop joe and show us how great they both are.
For me giving up on joe and spending money instead of having a try, leaves a slight sour taste.
Yeah tbf I thought Guardiola was supposed to be a developing manager rather than one who needed things handed to him. Not too tied to a system to be able to play to his squad strengths either. Must have been wrong.

FFS. It's like being an atheist and trying to get creationists to see sense.

Hart has been good for us, but all this chest beating and kissing the badge only gets him so far. Like I said he's been good for us but we need to move on and get that keeper who will move us forward in Peps system.

Yes buf if he have the funds, a plan and a system why not go all out to make us as good as possible. Its not like he's managing Bolton ffs

I like joe but he is never going to be good enough with his feet.

Football is ruthless
And we hang on to memories and past glories
Really we should of got rid of yaya start of last season ..
Silva isn't the player he once was and joe is never gonna be good enough with his feet or a world class keeper.
Not like he's a young lad he's nearly 30

People doubting pep and the clubs judgement over sentiment are stupid.

Sentiment is one of the reasons we've never kicked on from Either of the titles.
Now we have a manager who won't tolerate players who aren't good enough or passengers

I don't know what makes me sadder: The idea that we sell Joe, or the idea that I agree with us selling Joe.

Certain things can't be developed.

Pep binned Ronaldinho and Deco at Barca when he took over and had no experience of coaching at top level. Almost binned Eto'o in the same summer as well. He clearly doesn't care as long as he is able to play his way with players who are motivated and capable of doing it.

Nice try.
Not being tied to a certain system and playing the squad to its strengths does not mean, City is not allowed to sign players under Pep. That by the way means developing a squad as well.

Finally, maybe Pep is wrong and the lot backing Joe are right.
Wouldn*t it be your duty to shout for 90 mins "WE WANT JOE" until Pep is giving up and leaves?

This but if we are going to be right up at the top the sentiment has to go. Yaya should have gone after his stellar season. We don't owe our players because they do a good job for us, they earn a fortune and live a charmed life. I like this in a way it makes the statement that it is about Manchester City not individuals, a sort of you need us more than we need you. I am not explaining this very well..

Pep is a ruthless son of a bitch. You can't say that you want him as a manager and then expect him to make do with the players he's got. Some are square pegs in round holes, and Hart comes under that category.

There is no reason we can't be sorry for joe,he will be heartbroken to be forced out and i feel extremely sorry for him, there is nothing wrong with feeling that,it doesn't mean it's not the best decision for the club

He is almost 30 how much "development" is left in him..

Ever heard the term you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Rhetorical question.

Looking at Bravo's stats:
Bravo is nearly 5 inches smaller than Hart and 11kg lighter, so while less reach he is probably slightly quicker off the mark?
At Barca his distribution success was 83-86% with an average pass distance of 28-30m. However when he was at Real Sociedad his distribution success was 56-63% with an average pass distance of 46-49m, this is very similar to Hart who last season had 59% distribution success with an average pass distance of 43m.
Bravo changed his game when he moved to Barca. I would imagine Hart could change his game in a team that plays like Barca?
No problem bringing Bravo in to educate Hart and provide competition but I hope we can give Hart a chance to try and develop.
