Claudio Echeverri/On Loan at River Plate

The way they're managing his playing time is a bit weird. Feels like he's being made into a scapegoat got the awful form of the team.

However, as someone has said above he's got talent but a long way to go to be appearing in our side.

Copa Libs leg 2 ... River 0-0 AMG ... AMG goes thru with 0-3 agg. Echeverri played the last 32m. Played well, displayed the spark that holds the hope. The Copa Libs dream is dead tho. CE has 8 more league matches with River, 5 in Nov, 3 in Dec. River would have to win every match to scare the league leaders for the trophy. Lordy he's gonna love playing with good players come January.

He’s a Man City player, maybe there is some politics around wanting to make sure he avoids getting injured before joining us

Christian Eriksen is a pale shadow of the player he was before his heart problem.
Obviously he is a older now than he was in his prime but I can't believe that it didn't affect him.

Having a cardiac arrest does not necessarily equate to heart damage.
He is a shadow of his former self but that's just because he went to the rags. they sucked out what was left of his ability.

I'm far from a heart surgeon but Eriksen wasn't half the player when he returned to playing football.
It may just be due to his lay off from competitive football and, as long as I'd like to blame the rags, he was way off long before he joined them.

Maybe he's just too scared to push himself that extra 3% or whatever it takes? I know I would probably struggle forcing myself to the point where my heart was beating out of my chest after what happened to him.
