Clearasil Army

I don't think this argument is an age thing. It's to do with the type of people who go to the games.

Some people want to come with their arms folded and wait to be entertained. Others (including myself) are much more pro-active and try to get an atmosphere going and support the lads and hopefully spur them on to a win. For me I can't stand it when you are at the game and the only time you hear from people is when we're losing and their moaning. I see it is as part of my role as a match going fan to actively get behind the lads particularly when they need it most.

With regards to the United songs, its just a bit of irony. We sing it because we have won something and we are most definitely not small. I do concede however that some times the song may not be appropriate e.g. in Munich when we're losing but generally there's nothing wrong with it.

wading in with me size tens...

i don't have a season ticket anymore, and have only been a holder at eastlands. went to a handful of games at maine rd. atmosphere then was better than now, possibly nostalgia but for the time i had a season ticket (gave it up 2 years ago for family finances) there was always something missing from the old days. now we all have something to sing about and blue alliance, although i've not seen them in action are doing simply that, nothing else and rallying round the team. keep it up, lads. but be original. irony is lost on some people. don't copy shithouse rag tunes when we should be more than capable of making our own. personally, it turns my stomach to think some City fans are singing rag chants in some twisted vendetta way to get back at them and all the shit we've endured. we've surely got more creativity than that. we certainly have on the pitch... ctid

By the sounds of this thread, if you're 18 you're in the Blue Alliance, and if you're in the Blue Alliance you're a ****.

They've done well with improving the atmosphere, I've been sat near them a fair few times, and they single-handedly have raised the noise levels at times. It looks like a lot of their members are younger too, but it's not exactly their fault. Would they be getting the same stick if 50% of their members were 40+?

Also, agree with someone who said it earlier, I'm 18, sorry I wasn't born earlier! I've supported City all my life, but I can't affect how we do! I'm very happy and grateful to be part of a club that's seemingly successful these days, but if they weren't, I'd still be there, like most of us would be!

get something original going strong on a train carriage once, video it and we'll have another oooh balotelli as soon as its passed about on youtube. easy

honstly guys the fullham song was ment to be it was rocking at fullham but its dead here, wheres the fulham atmosphear gone. nothing to do with we go more games then you, if it was we would of sung about munich.

Sense of humour transplant needed for some of the Victor Meldrews in this thread.

Ironically enough, they were probably posting about a lack of atmosphere before the BA properly got going...

Some on here should be cutting these BA lads some slack...at least they are trying to lift the atmosphere at games.
