Clearasil Army

Live and let live.

Some people like to sing, some don't. Some are young (lucky b*stards) and some are old. Some are knobs, others are genuine people. But we all support City and go to them game to see our team play.

Like many on this thread, I can't abide this "I am a better supporter than you".

As said "Live and let live", as long as the actions are not offensive to your fellow Blues.

I agree with this. My dad has been a season ticket for 15 years and a blue for decades before that but I've never once heard him sing, miserable bugger haha. It doesn't mean he is any less of a supporter than anyone else. Just not his thing.

For what its worth,im over 40 and started going in 1976,the start of the decline! I think that inspiral carpets version is superb...get behind the young lads.

Sense of humour transplant needed for some of the Victor Meldrews in this thread.

Ironically enough, they were probably posting about a lack of atmosphere before the BA properly got going...

and the rest you lying ****

Well i think the original comment got sorted but i would like to say regarding comments on the songs with a "funny" or "ironic" meaning to them , that irony and fun has always been around the club since ive been a supporter and has been taught to fans old and new for all of those years , and to just say that now its time to stop as we dont need to take the mick out of ourselves is a bit sudden , im not saying we shouldnt but i never got no memo telling me the new singing etiquette , perhaps you should make some suggestions on what the "new" voice of city should sound like before criticising a legacy probably written by your peers :)

A lot of dick measuring rubbish in this thread. There doesnt need to be a divide between the older and younger generation, we all have the same common interest.

People are different at matches. I know the BA lads and they are great lads ive had many a beer with. The day on the Barceloneta beach was one of the most enjoyable days of my life.

Im different to them in how I support City, im not much of a singer but will join in when something gets going. I sit down at home games and will moan if someone is stood in front of me. I dont drink to, from or at the match apart from a cheeky pint, and I prefer to drive rather than get the train etc with the rest of them.

All those things are pretty much the opposite to the BA lads and a large proportion of other fans, young and old. We are all different.

They might think im a boring bastard. At the end of the day, I love City to death and life is seriously pointless without them and I will love City more than anything on the planet until my dying breath. I'm 26, and the day I saw that Silver cup sparkle in the sun in May for the first time in my life was the happiest i've ever been.

Morale of the story, dont judge them for being different to you, and vice versa. They are blue, thats all that matters.
