its not rubbish mate,

ok maybe it wasnt the mighty blue alliance but,

ive stood near your lot at tottenham, fulham and at munich and you do sing these songs about us winning nothing at all and we're going down with a billion in the bank or whatever it is!

don't need a meeting about it, these united songs need to stop, why cant we sing about our own club 100% of the time, like stoke and the like.

however if we win at old trafford maybe one or two versus of this is how it feels to be city could be acceptable on our way out!!

i do however see the good work you have been doing with atmosphere and making up songs but why cant you do it without bring ushited into them all the time..

You're the one bringing our name up, so not really sure what your 'mighty' and sarcastic comments are meant to mean. You seem to know who we are so how many times have you heard us jumping about saying look at us we're blue alliance?. Look at the video. This is before the BA even existed. City fans sing these songs, not the BA. I don't really like either song, but not going to slag any city fan off for trying to improve the atmosphere. Don't you have anything better to do?

the blue alliance are great, get the atmosphere going and keep singing going, how anyone can have a go at the them for that is beyond me, so what if it's about united sometimes- there are rivals why not, couldnt go yesterday but the majority of songs you could hear on the stream were solely about city :)

songs like billion in the bank are class

No there not!
I will say this for the youngsters though...they have plenty of bottle and are always trying to get the atmosphere going etc....I suppose at the end of the day , any songs are better than no songs!
10/10 for effort....3/10 for origianallity!!
Must do better : )

we,ve always had songs that we all dont agree about 'buy your club, burn it down'. 'town full of minichs', 'who put the ball in the munich net', 'he's not munich anymore' ....etc, etc.

We,ve also always had arguments amongst city fans and scraps - non more so than the early part of the famous 98/99 season.

if some knob shouts at you for standing up / not standing up / singing to loud / not singing - tell them to f**k themselves.

Atmosphere was great yesterday and has been at nearly all the away games for the last year. Stop blaming / tarnishing blue alliance for the antics of a few, it distracts from a great day and results.

No amount of complaining/requesting is going to change what people sing.

Even when the club and its most famous and respected player asked for the Munich songs to stop, that was ignored by a minority so a poster on here isn't going to get anyone to stop.

I know where some of the comments about the billions song and similar are coming from - the days of having to take the piss out of ourselves before anyone else got chance have gone now. It was a matter of us getting the 'joke' in first and not letting our opponents get one up on us.

Don't let it get to you and just ignore them ;-)

the main reason why most of the young lot sing about united because EVERYONE knows them songs whereas if we try to start any city songs no bugger will join in. YOU cant just sing mancini woahhh for 90 minutes.

blue alliance are no problem and i'll think you'll find that there at every away game getting the atmosphere going and even at home games they are the ones getting the songs going. there just trying to improve the atmosphere. united songs have always been around so you can't blame 'the young lot' and 'blue alliance kids' for it.

this is how it feels to be city is clearly a joke seeing as how well we are doing. united sung it first but so what. going down with a billion in the bank is clearly a piss take.

surprise surprise. older fans slagging off younger fans with the "weve been through more bad years than you" so therefore what we say is right blah blah

Surprise surprise, the "clearasil army" having a go at other City fans for not singing etc etc.

I find it fascinating that these pimply crewcuts have the audacity to scream in someone's face at the match for not singing. Iv seen it at Chelsea away and numerous other grounds.

Just a quick point Foley/Felix your veiled threat to other posters about meeting you at 5:00 today with the other BA members to "sort out" any issues they have with the BA sums you and your lot up.

I am actually envious of the "the spotty firm" that follow City these days as it is so easy for them now. They never had to watch an Alan Ball or Frank Clarke side struggle or suffer the indignation of of a Steve Coppell resignation due to embarrassing circumstances. The kids today don't know they're born ;)

I'm a member with TBA and I've been going to City since I was six in 1988-89. I've seen almost all the bad times bar getting relegated as champions, the shite season in the early 60's when we averaged just 16000 at Maine Road and a few relegations in the 80's. Do people think we've just turned up at City and don't know owt?!

[I actually don't like the 'billion in the bank' song!]

I can vouch for this. Danzone Fanny, Bluebird and one of the Blue Alliance were having a little conflab at the pitch barrier at half time. Oh to be a City celebrity. ;-)
Blimey, I get spotted everywhere! Autographs given on request;-)

Actually 5pm refers to the time of the City Centre Supporters Club meeting in the Waldorf this afternoon during which, like at most meetings, atmosphere will be discussed. People are more than welcome to come along and put ideas etc forward. It is not a veiled threat so please do not refer to it as such.
