Marc Bolan? Christ, I've got no childhood left
My ex wife will be suicidal, hero worshiped him

There's an anecdote out there that Bolan's son approached Who bassist John Entwistle in a bar one time, got chatting to him and then introduced himself accordingly. He then asked Entwistle if he had known his father and Entwistle replied "No, but I knew the tree".

Cruel, inappropriate, but fucking funny.

Why was Savile exposed the minute he died? How far up does this go?

He was exposed simply because you can't libel/slander a dead person, and conversely he can't sue you as he's dead.

Always remembering if the allegations are true there's no comeback any way.

This is all about "financial gain", as the "victims" will pursue claims in the civil court against wealthy people's estates.

Thats the bottom line in my opinion.

its an incredibly naive opinion.

I don't get it. I know Bolan crashed into the tree but why is "I knew the tree" funny?
