Club Badge (merged)

I agree with @Cobwebcat of all of the ones I've seen, this is the closest to perfect I've seen. I'm not keen on the crosses or the writing in the background, but other than that the design is perfect.

I strongly believe that if we had updated to this design in 1997, there would be absolutely no appetite to change the badge now.

I hope that once this is over and as we review Gav's efforts, we all don't feel we have suffered a horrible Jim Bowen Bullseye moment of 'Let's have a look at what you could have won!' before being left with some hybrid holocaust!

Surely to God there are people within the club that are aware of some of Gav's designs, and assuming they fit in with the basic consensus of the survey, can give the OK to use his design.

its like driving miss daisy,on this forum sometimes,"main rd this main rd that, bring back bananas, the badge of my youth ,lancashire red roses," a whole generation have grown up with the current badge, the average 20 year old only knows the present badge ,if they are the 51% majority so be it ,
I did read the whole post and your implication is quite clear, you are implying that the younger generation want the present badge otherwise why say "if they are the 51%
majority so be it"? By the way, my name isn`t Adolf.

It's a nice design but will it look nice on our home kit? If I knew how to photoshop I'd try it out

So maybe this rather than the ship? :-)
