Club Badge (merged)

If you keep banging on about it someone will eventually take notice of you, if people from Manchester or wherever want to call themselves Lancastrian it's their choice

Absolutely agree. If people want to call themselves Lancastrian it's entirely their choice. I've never suggested otherwise, so not really sure why you've quoted me.

We should take the lead from Leicester fans.

They had a flag of their first, second and third club badges.

Underneath it said "Then,Now and forever"

If it does nothing other than give us justification for using a symbol for a neighbouring county that some people feel attached to, that's fine by me. As I was born in Preston, maybe I'm a bit biased.

As I've said mate, I don't mind the rose being on the badge, I actually quite like it.

The club was formed in Lancashire, spent most of it's existence in Lancashire, we've had it on previous badges, and it appears on the Manchester CoA, so we've got plenty of justification for including it.

The point I was making to others is that in 2016 Manchester is no longer in Lancashire, no matter how much some people wish it was.

I am a Lancastrian, It's a fact.

Wilf and you can carry on your bizarre 'lessons of history' discussion but not on my time, mate.

Nothing against you pal, but whether you're a Lancastrian or not is completely irrelevant to the discussion.

The point is that Manchester is not in Lancashire anymore, and however precious your time is, or how much you protest, that's not going to change.

Well lets see what can be argued about--- FC or no FC -- Done
Rose -- Done
Is the ship in the ocean or a canal -- Done
Our origins date -- Done

Well all that's left is the font colour and the piping

I like both but not sure about the colour or piping. Ok that's argued with and covers everything

Though as it is claimed we are no longer Lancashire maybe we should have used the castle on the greater Manchester CoA or a book or the french horn

But then I though we was establishing the last 100 pages are people not agreeing on this so let;s all just be happy with what we believe and agree the eagle and stars was crap and we are glad it's gone

Here here.

I hated it when I first saw it.
I now love it, reminds me of being a little kid when I would wear the similar badge in the 90's

I'm in this camp - however, I do think the ship is ever so slightly off-center (a slight nudge to the right is required). just me?
