My point was mainly about the hypocrisy in the responses to badge criticisms so I am not sure how my position is myopic. I have taken into account other post as I've followed the debate like you have.

I'll leave it alone as this is a much bigger forum issue than just whether you like the badge and it isn't getting solved on Christmas (as much as that would be a nice gift for everyone).

Oh this thread is over 500 pages long mate, lots have discussions have gone before we got this leak about different things.

Fair enough. I only tuned in as it was leaked.

No I didnt think it was referring to me, so no probs there. Just found the bit I quoted OTT. Hasnt been a particularly bad natured discussion IMO, and both sides of the debate have had their moments. Incitement a few pages back, and now this. I'm not sure this persecution thing really stacks up with the facts.

And to be fair one of the things you complained about others doing, you have just done exactly the same to SWP'sBack

Fair enough, though, I am not quite sure what I have done to SWP that I am complaining about. I think I've been pretty supportive of his right to express his position and have only questioned the responses to badge criticism. And I am certainly in no way attempting to dominate anything (aside from my stomach pains—I've eaten far too much today).

Yeah tomorrow can't come soon enough, I'm hoping it at least it looks a bit tidier than that and someone recreated what they saw for the leak.

I'm genuinely shocked. I thought the majority would love the new badge... It looks class. Retro yet modern and very clean.

Since it's Xmas day I've obviously watched some Morecambe & Wise and this quote reminded me of the new badge...

"I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order."

It is growing on me but I think certain aspects will forever grate.

Problem is Gav's designs (good as some of them were) didn't take into account the data from the survey which I assume showed a preference for including the rose.

I wasn't impressed with the new badge at first but must admit I have grown to like it a lot the more I have seen it.
