One of the most comprehensive showings from us in Europe. We made a Brugges side that had achieved some decent results look like a pub side
That should be a wake up call to the rest of Europe, yes we lost that final but we remain the team to beat, imo

why? Pep has us dominating in a comp where there are no longer perceived easy games, we do our business and dare i say we’ll manoeuvre into the business end relatively easy...

margins obviously attached but we will undoubtedly be the team to beat, pep is creating another monster (:

Consumate professional performance by City. So fluid. Made Brugges look ordinary and left them chasing shadows.

Well done Pep and all the players. Five goals away is a great result.

Not slagging him off, but this did make me chuckle

Excellent. Fluid and decisive. Keep missing those, Raz, and you're a gonner in January. Palmer showing he is ready, tho' some learning still to do.
Needs to get his head up faster to see what is possible to his right. His natural balance and the way he attacks the ball means his vision tends to favour what is ahead of him and to his left. That’ll come with more game time and playing in different positions.
