Club Brugge (A) - CL - Post-Match Thread

Fantastic performance. We are blessed at times to watch such football. Pep will be a hard act to follow.

That should be a wake up call to the rest of Europe, yes we lost that final but we remain the team to beat, imo

why? Pep has us dominating in a comp where there are no longer perceived easy games, we do our business and dare i say we’ll manoeuvre into the business end relatively easy...

margins obviously attached but we will undoubtedly be the team to beat, pep is creating another monster (:
Just hope the no striker issue doesnt cost us in a tight game later on in the Comp

On the ball from the 1st minute and made a potentially difficult away match quite easy. Some really well worked goals too.
Only disappointing aspect was Sterling coming on and spunking 3 great chances, would have been great if he'd managed to score one and his overall play was very good.
Great goal from Palmer although being critical, he got caught dilly dallying on the ball a few times, Pep will soon sort that out though.
God knows how their hatchet man stayed on the pitch, should have been off in the 1st half, should have been booked for the pen and then was yellow carded two minutes later. Then proceeded to stamp and hack his way through the 2nd half with impunity.
Superb from Walker, Foden and I thought Grealish had a great 2nd half...looks much more dangerous when he can wander over the pitch instead of being glued to the left touchline?
Got to admire their fans for staying to the end and continuing to be noisy and support their team.
