If the statement is genuine then Mancini knew he was probably going back in Feb when the league was effectively lost. Suspect the 'targets' were to win the PL and qualify for the next stages of the CL. It was agreed verbally (Pellegrini) before the cup so that made no difference.

It's either a genuine statement or its bullshit

Maybe he is a "weasel like, shit house" like you say but if Bobby had the same attitude with other members of staff including the squad then that isn't good for the club.

Personally I think this whole situation has been handled badly but is probably the correct decision. Time will tell

Then as already seen they will start dishing crap on prospective new managers whilst hording Moyes as a genius despite no trophys in his time at Everton, but like Utd they don't spend money and he has done a miracle.

Oh and when Utd beat Wigan in the charity shield, that trophy will be counted as a major trophy for moyes yet Mancini won nothing this year despite winning the charity shield.

Paul Breen-Turner talkshites Spanish correspondent based in Malaga just been on, interesting what he said, he was hinting that Pelligrini does not even want to leave Malaga as he is happy and settled there and the only reason that he might leave is that the arab owners are witholding cash and not giving him the backing he expects
