Club survey for those not renewing

Can see the starting price being same as this year,
then more if we wanna see chelski, scum etc.
If so like been said before i'm out,
To be honest tho cant see it,
There would be even more people not renewing if that the case

There seem to me some harsh comments in this thread.

Granted some things are going up - basic ST cost, replica shirt costs etc, but I have been quite impressed by the club's willingness to look at options that keep the cost down. What's the cost of a value gold season ticket, 300? yeah it's pot luck where they put you but if cost is the main thing for you, it's a belting deal. So far as I am aware we are the only club that do this.

The survey is as I understand it for people who are NOT renewing, and they are looking at options which might make you want to renew in the future. Like, if you live a long way away and are worried about the money you will spend on midweek games you won't go to, what about a weekend only season ticket?

It doesn't look to me like the club are thinking about ending traditional season tickets that cover every home league game at all. I think they are just making sure that when people don't want that, there are alternative ways of making sure that (a) we get to see some games, and (b) they get our money. Which seems fair enough to me.

Having experienced an extremely manipulative and leading consultation on a Council project recently, I am now very suspicious of questionnaires and surveys such as this

I disagree with this. I'd be more concerned if the club didn't ask questions. I've responded to several surveys, and I am sure that where there are multiple responses for certain issues, they will be looked at critically and action taken accordingly.

We have seen so many great changes to the stadium, but perfection takes a little longer.

For the record my family have renewed, but if we hadn't I would love to have been asked the reasons why not. As opposed to a few years back when a flyer was sent out when we missed the deadline to say 'You've been subbed'!
That was someone's sense of humour maybe, but had a negative affect on me, thinking my support could easily be subbed.

Long may they continue to ask our opinion - IMHO!

It is good that they are giving options, the problem since SKY no-one knows when the fuck we are playing and can't really plan ahead with work commitments, etc. I can see a Saturday only season ticket being very popular and a lot of old fans coming back given that option.

Unless they expand the stadium soon there will be no places for them!

Marketing 101 isn't it? Your product is not selling to those who have previously bought it, so you endeavour to find out why they no longer want your product. As part of this, see if they would be amenable to another way of buying your product - if they are then you tailor the product to them.

This will obviously not sound good to those who renew every year, but the times they are a'changing......

lets face it regardless of what changes the club make the truth is our season tickets are far too cheap considering the football and the players on display.

Why is that shafting us? I'd bet that Blues pick and choose bigger matches so grouping them together without having the hassle of individually booking each is a good idea. I'm a Seasoncard holder myself but would entertain a 4 or 5 match deal if I weren't.

I'm under the presumption the club would stop doing the traditional SC that we have used over the years and going into a model of buying several different SC's for different types of games.

So you would buy one SC for most of the games, but this would exclude the Big derbies.
Then you'd buy on top of the cost of your one SC, the big derbies.
And so on and so on.

We don't know what they are planning on doing yet so it's all speculation of course but if say I was sold my SC next season at the same/similar price but this excluded some very big games (and I had to pay extra for these games) then I would be out.

I'm not and I'd be amazed if that would ever happen. The traditional Seasoncard will remain covering the 19 matches and, if anything, they'll try and incorporate deals to get us to spend more money.
