lets face it regardless of what changes the club make the truth is our season tickets are far too cheap considering the football and the players on display.

ooooohhhhhh......if you weren't a MOD I'd swear blind you were trying to catch someone in a Clarkie with that one!

I like De Niro and his contributions normally but also hope he's trying a Clarkie. £550 isn't far too cheap at all. This has been the first time I've struggled to find it all in one go and have had to go for the one off DD in July which gave me two months to find it.

Well put it this way:

if the Club started doing different SC's for different games and shafting us even more I'm out

Why is that shafting us? I'd bet that Blues pick and choose bigger matches so grouping them together without having the hassle of individually booking each is a good idea. I'm a Seasoncard holder myself but would entertain a 4 or 5 match deal if I weren't.

I'm under the presumption the club would stop doing the traditional SC that we have used over the years and going into a model of buying several different SC's for different types of games.
so basically you haven't a scooby, yet saw fit to label the club as shafting it's fans

a balanced view, not

look at this lot mate. we compare very well indeed.

Christ, I knew Arsenal were expensive, but I didn't realise Spurs were that much. I think we're all ripped off for what we get, but hey I've renewed so who am I to talk.

I'm under the presumption the club would stop doing the traditional SC that we have used over the years and going into a model of buying several different SC's for different types of games.

So you would buy one SC for most of the games, but this would exclude the Big derbies.
Then you'd buy on top of the cost of your one SC, the big derbies.
And so on and so on.

We don't know what they are planning on doing yet so it's all speculation of course but if say I was sold my SC next season at the same/similar price but this excluded some very big games (and I had to pay extra for these games) then I would be out.
presuming an awfull lot there, but then gives you another reason to slag the club off, how anyone can try and turn a few questions about why people havn`t re-newed into a negative rant at the club beats me. Maybe about time you formed a protest group about something that `might` happen or better still do us a favour and dont re-new then we wont have to listen to your constant moaning & whinging about everything the club try to do.

Well put. Call the group 'Swales Up'

I know that I really can't have a say on the prices but, from where I sit, they are cheap as fuck. I have been offered basketball tickets for a single game that are worth more than the price of a seasons ticket at City. (no I didn't take them as it's shit) And the Rolling Stones are selling some tickets for their show here at $1,500.00 CDN a pop. I know it's not the same ting but it's still cheap considering what you get.

The club are right to look at selling tickets in different ways. How many people can guarantee to be off work / family commitments 19 times a year? Especially when the times of the week are varied and can be changed at afew weeks notice to accommodate TV schedules.
I have seasoncards for myself and my lad, although I only attend less than 2/3rds of games. Friends and family have the tickets off me at a reduced rate when I can't make it - but sometimes they go unused. This still seems like value to me. In the past (pre seasoncard) I have paid top dollar for the games I really wanted - £300 for 2 tickets to the last Maine Road derby for example. So it is financially better for me to buy a seasoncard and accept a loss when I can't make it. I wish I could let Blues have my ticket when not in use - but it is a great risk to give seasoncards to anyone that you don't know you can trust 100%. Viagogo is only of use when you know you can't make the game 5/6 + days in advance.

So alternatives to seasoncards would be welcome. For me the ideal way would be a guarantee bond - lets say £100 per season - to have first dibs on a seat. You then pay going rate for that seat. When not needed the club can sell it on.
Whatever the answer, City should be praised for looking at alternatives for those who have had to give up their seasoncards for whatever reason. Of course it's about making money, but all businesses know that the secret to success is keeping the customer/supporter happy.

Ouch!

Where the fuck did this come from? I don't constantly whinge/moan about the club whatsoever, that is totally unfair to label me as someone like this.

If you are adamant I am like this then back it up and show me evidence of this.

The amount of time I've raised news about what the club are doing infront of many blues/members of the local MCFCSC, usually positive news and the amount of topics I've created on here over the years with positive news about the club.

You have the wrong guy mate.

-- Thu Jun 13, 2013 1:47 am --
