I'd have absolutely no issue with the CWC, as long as the plethora of pointless matches players are expected to take part in, are pulled.

It'll be interesting to see what FIFA & UEFA do if Phil, Walker, Zico, Jack & Stones are called up by Carsley for the Nations League, but Pep says he needs them for the CWC. Will FIFA go against their own rules on international call-ups?

Talking like he’s going to be manager for the tournament
I personally think if he doesn’t extend he should leave after the European season finishes. Give the new manager adequate time to bed in. The PL season starts 3 weeks after the final, it’s already going to be hard enough on the players without having a new manager to worry about.

They've won the league phase of the MLS, and it's the norm for the host country's league winner to compete in this competition. The issue is the MLS now has a play off to determine overall winner and it feels like the team that wins that should be involved in my opinion (which may well end up being Miami).

FIFA said during the week that Seattle who had already qualified separately will play all of their group games in Seattle, so presume it will be the same for Miami.

Am really looking forward to this tournament. I reckon they will put us in MetLife stadium for a match to shift tickets. Just want the timetable sorted so I can book my flights
 


Haven’t seen it posted here or too many other places online either but I have spotted a couple of proclaimed African ‘Journalists’ saying the draw is fixed for December 5th.
 
Any guesses as to where city will base themselves for this?
Guessing new york but may depend on where the fixtures are being played.
 
Wonder what state the players will be in by the time this rolls round.
