I know what you mean. I’ve still got a return flight on Monday’s Aer Lingus flight from JFK, but I binned it off and found a cheap flight home from Orlando. Got back yesterday afternoon. I agree. What negatives there have been, can be linked to the host e.g., dynamic pricing. In the latter stages, they have reduced ticket prices, and not surprisingly the crowds are bigger now. The weather was a problem.
