Was that the section with the Buckin' Broncho?
Went on it twice when pissed - second time threw me off right into the corner and hurt my arm...second and last time I went on it!
Sorry for the bump!
Anyone recall a club somewhere in south Manchester called "Brassingermans" or similar? May have been a restaurant as well...
Brannigans?
I thought this but wasn't that in town? Royal Exchange?
Brassingermans was in Alderley Edge where the Piccolino is now. Pretty sure that was mid 90s to early 00s though.Sorry for the bump!

Went out with a girl from Swinton around ‘91 and she refused to go out on top road saying it was too rough.I was a bit young for the Dukes in its mad era. Though the older lads I knocked about with used to go in there.
The top road was mental. I was lucky that I went to school in Salford, so no-one in Swinton really knew me. Some of my mates were in battles every week. People carried grudges on from school, pilks, agecroft colls, sunday football. All very insular.
Friday night in the Butchers was like the wild west.
