Coffee machines

Nespresso machines are the mutts nuts of coffee machines imho.

I certainly recommend the Purple capsules for flavour but if you want a full on hit go for the Black ones.

Those fancy one cup things are expensive and would be just an ornament in my kitchen. At least a full pot a day in our house and can add a shot of whatever flavour I want to my cup. I'll just stick to my old filter machine.

I've tried them all including a Nespresso with the built in frother etc. These days I use this

I have a percolator which I would use from time to time when staying in the house (Saturday or Sunday mornings usually if I have a hangover), and a cafetiere (well 2 actually, of differing sizes) in work, but with this new machine it's very handy in the mornings not to have to spend 10 minutes just making a cuppa, if - when I find out how to get the best out of it.
I guess it will be the 2 pod option to the end of the month and then order the stronger stuff online.
Thanks all

Recently got a Dolce Gusto coffee machine as a present, but so far any of the flavours I have tried all seem a bit weak for my liking.
Other than doubling up the amount of pods I use (& associated cost), making do with half a mug or getting smaller cups, any ideas of how to increase the strength (or better flavours to try)

Have you not seen the Nespresso adverts with that **** George Clooney who's holding a cup about the size of a thimble?
That tells you all you need to know about the strength of coffee pods
