I personally quite like , more than I do Oasis anyway but that's because I find Oasis's music boring and something I don't mind listening too once or twice, but wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it. I also thought Liam Gallagher was as fake of a Mancunian as you could get, like as if he acted out his own stereotype of what he thought it was to be Manc. It's got him rich and inside the minges of many, many gorgeous women though, so kudos to him for that.
I can see why people hate Coldplay though, they are depressing if you read into the words. When I split up with my kids' mum some of their songs were almost a carbon copy of how I felt, and for that reason alone I should hate them. I don't though, I think they're good. I put on a thread last night about their Glasto set this year, about how fucking awesome it was.
To each their own though isn't it music, it's what makes it great.
