Cole Palmer

100% he is more complete, its just the quality/experience issue.

Hopefully we get the CL group tied up quickly and he can play and prove he has the quality and gain more experience. The trouble is, we might have qualified after 4 games but if the group isn't won Pep will still play a strong team in the 5th to ensure 1st place is ours. A one off nothing game in the CL is hardly a good measure of a player. But as I said originally I'm desperate for him to be in a City shirt more regularly and I might be completely wrong on how much of an improvement he might make to our squad. I don't think many City fans are overly convinced on the Rodri/Gundogan partnership but it's wishful thinking to expect Doyle to be any better than either of them.

If desire and enthusiasm is any sort of measurement, then he stands a very good chance.

I have only seen the 2 cameos and the odd highlights from the kids, but I really like the way the lad plays. He has touch, vision, a turn of pace and a little bit of needle. I hope we introduce him like Phil as all being well he will be an excellent player for us in the future.

The real deal. The smart thing to do, to keep a path open for him, is to NOT replace Mahrez with a right winger when we sell him. We have so many that can play there even without Mahrez. Let this lad see that there’s a route for him.

Pep cannot fail to have witnessed what we all did, last night. This is a player with technique, guile, strength and end product. Surely, his regular place in the first team is only a matter of time.

I would hope he's rubbing his hands with excitement at the prospect of at least half a dozen of them.If they continue to progress and we are clever with integration, those kids could save us a small fortune and they have the bonus of knowing what the club is all about.

A very cultured player and I love that he blends some of Mahrez's best attributes into his game.

The body feint, touch, way he moves in field from the right.

That's where the similarities end though and Cole is braver and more robust in his defending.

Really exciting to see how far he can go.
