Palmers best position is clearly on the right wing. For me in central areas he’s not good enough and doesn’t effect the game. But play him on the right and he’ll do just as good of a job as Mahrez

I think the only reason we saw him centrally is because Mahrez was playing RW all pre season and Pep prioritized letting his 1st team getting minutes in their preferred position.

I see Palmer in the Mahrez mold as you said, and I suspect Pep will continue with Inverted wingers from now on, hence the Grealish signing.

Gittens was a level or two below the likes of Palmer, McAtee etc. More like Matondo standard

Gittens reminded me alot of taylor richards at U16, could dominate games against weaker players

From the little I have seen of him he looks to be very comfortable with the ball. You can usually tell when someone is a natural type of player and while it will be difficult for him to break through at City I think he has a decent chance. Good luck to the boy

Him and edozie were far better second half,a steep learning curve for them though,as on a few occasions they give the ball away which lead to dangerous attacks but without playing in the first team against half decent opponents when are they going to learn and improve,thought edozie was a handful at times second half just seems to lack that experience and belief ..

Seen Gittens play a few times and not level below in my opinion! He has exceptional pace similar to Matondo but better quality! Unfortunately had serious injury at Dortmund, don't know details but maybe cruciate! McAtee good player, but probably overhyped a bit when younger!
