He'll have more competition for a place at Chelsea
You cannot compare Mahrez and Palmer at his current age. At this age Mahrez was at Le Havre in Ligue 2I sort of get the thinking but there's a significant gap in quality between Riyad and Cole.
He's made for life in one move, but a huge risk going to that mad house. From my understanding Cole wants game time.
Doubtful he’ll get anymore game time at Chelsea than he will at City.
Sounds like a pointless move to me.
Brighton ask for ridiculous fees but usually only for their best players or regular starters. We can't realistically demand more than 50m for a guy who has never played meaningful minutes for us in the league.Cole Palmer will be some player. I’ll be gutted to see him in another team’s shirt. Brighton would be wanting 80 million for this guy and Chelsea would be paying it too.
