His only pass of note was made to look good by Gvardiol who should’ve cleared it easily.

If Palmer didn’t have James overlapping he’d really struggle, he hasn’t got the pace or strength to be a top premier league player.

Not to mention scuffing the penalty spot for Haaland's first.

Wish him luck but making it elsewhere in this league is in no way a sign that he would've made it here. He had 2/3 seasons with the first team and couldn't break past 20 minute cameos. If you're good enough (tactically especially) then we have enough games where players can boost their minutes.

He didn't and was never going to, hence leaving. Right decision for him and the club IMO, meant we didn't have a space wasted (Doku instead now!) and meant he could go and get minutes elsewhere.

No. The clanger was letting Gundog and Mahrez and not replacing them with similar standard players.

We wanted Bellingham and Paqueta as the first option.

Didn't get in the end so we look the alternatives, it's not easy to replace those two player.

Doku replaced Mahrez. And he is currently part of who scores team of the season. I'd s ay that's a good replacement.
