He is the next De Bruyne. Big, big mistake sell him.

If you think you're one of the "usual suspects" that's your decision bud. I'd prefer to support the club rather than find reasons after the fact to denigrate them. Perhaps it's because I'm not a miserable sod ;)Protective of the club yes I get that. It’s what I do if I think anybody is attacking the club.
“it gives the usual suspects something to whinge about”
Does that make you a happy clapper. Or would it be over the top calling you that.
I think you’ve got your left and right mixed upPalmer was shunted on the right wing every time last season as Bernado, Mahrez and Foden occupied the left side. It’s similar to asking Grealish to go play wide right and take his man on down the outside. We made a mistake that is life, but we’ve sold a potential world class player in my eyes, who was raised through the academy.
minutes here and there - not a proper run of course - it's very different playing like that as he alluded to - ''you just don't want to make a mistake'' he said ..well along these lines. Foden was the same - couple of years on, Foden drifting in taking more responsibility...what a forward line in a few years - Foden and Palmer, cycling number 10 and wide roles...if only McAtee could have pushed on...I would love to see a team half full of local ladsI've seen a lot of people saying things like "imagine if he had a decent group of players around him."
... He literally played for the best team on the planet and never got anywhere near these numbers. He still wouldn't be getting near them now.
Being a big fish in a small pond is flattering.
Couldn't he play the Gundogan role and be a main man here ?Well done to him there’s no point thinking what could of been he’s smashing it there because he’s the main man something he was never going to be here

Maybe he supports whoever we’re playing against?I think you’ve got your left and right mixed up
Still a mistake selling out a productive homegrown player, a double mistake selling to a rival. So if Palmer ends up top scorer in the prem & City do another treble, you think City have made a mistake?
Personally, I’d rather see my team win the league than have the top scorer in the league play for my team
