Issue is I don’t believe Pep rated Cole as highly as Phil

I think to Pep Phil and Rico were always going to be easier characters to manage - you get the feeling Cole could have really wound up the management with his very nonchalant approach - hope im wrong as that is a sad reason to influence the decision to move him on..£40m nowadays gives you what exactly... a Chris Woods or Mason Mount type player....always a big loss this

I regret losing sane and jules but we made good money and we move on . In our wildest dreams we could not have forseen the injury and illness crisis

It’s not because he’s a local boy, it’s because he’s arguably the most talented young player in England right now. I think it’s fair to say we might regret it. He’s worth what 100m now? So arguably we’ve lost money.

A rag who regularly attended city away games and celebrated with our fans …
