Newcastle paid £45 million for Gordon last January. Palmer is a much better prospect than Gordon in my eyes and the market has inflated substantially since then. Would look alright if there's a good sell-on clause too which hasnt been mentioned but fairly poor money again if there isn't.

Absolutely correct for me, they think they should be playing every game, who in the last 2 games should he have started ahead of ? Also with very slender leads in both games who are you bringing him on for ?
