The problem is Palmer could be anything, he could turn out to be a world class player. Lets face it he never really got a chance at City because we had to many good experienced players. Anywhere else he would of got game time. What interests me is that none of the incoming players are really direct replacements for the outgoing players. This suggests pep is going to shake things up again.
Oh I completely agree with you. I think Palmer is a special young player, but at this stage 45m has to be seen as a great deal. Palmer has obvious potential, but has far less experience than the likes of Maddison or Kim to warrant a higher price tag.The problem is Palmer could be anything, he could turn out to be a world class player. I`ve never said that Nunes was the answer.I stated that we needed cover for Rodders and he can certainly play in that position.
