Colin Bell RIP - Ian Cheeseman interview with Jon Bell (P142)

I've been on here all evening since the sad news broke and it's been extremely moving to read so many Fellow Blues opening their hearts at this time. Even now I keep filling up so I'm gonna turn in and look forward to tomorrow night when hopefully the lads can give us all something to smile about in memory of Colin the King.

Saw the King play against City at Maine rd. for Bury.. possibly when Harry Dowd scored for us as centre forward.
Privileged to be at the start.
I'm in bits

Hi Iwasthere - I was there too ... also saw him make his debut for City away at Derby ... what a wonderful player he was ... was lucky to meet him a couple of times at Etihad .... once with our son and have a super picture of the three of us.

I could hardly get any words out whilst shaking hands with Colin The King as I was overwhelmed!

Today is a very sad day but a day to cast ones mind back to those glorious days.

RIP Colin

We have had some great players playing for our club in my 50 odd years of going to watch city but King Colin would still be my first name on the team sheet closely followed by David Silva & Sergio.
