Does anyone realise how much seeing a thread simply entitled 'Colin Bell' with at least 4 pages of replies puts the shits on a blue?

I watched him in the latter part of his career, and the comeback game at home to Newcastle will stay with me forever...It was the loudest noise I have ever heard City fans make..and it went on, and on, and on...Grown men around me were in tears and singing we'll drink a drink a drink for a full 45 mins...F@ckin legend and for me never really given the respect he deserved on a world level, partly because of Englands failure to qualify for the 74 world cup and partly because he was a Blue.
One of his finest moments.

dunno, could say that about most of the England team at that time, remember him scoring 2 against the Czechs(who went on to win EC76)at wembley in 75.

for me there was only one player at that time that came anywhere near Bell, that was Alan HudsonBlue Tooth said:darrenwassall said:dunno, could say that about most of the England team at that time, remember him scoring 2 against the Czechs(who went on to win EC76)at wembley in 75.
To be fair how many of the rest of that England team would you say had Bell's potential for World Class Status at that time?
