Colin Murray is a BALLBAG

I don't get why he can present a program on the BBC.

I'm from Belgium, and I'm having difficulties understanding him. It's a real pain to hear him talk.

here's a thought...maybe he does follow NI football, AS WELL?

Is the Premiership not lauded as "the greatest league the the world"? Or are people from outside of England not allowed to follow it? FFS i can get to Manchester in a couple of hours...probably alot quicker than you can get to London...does that mean you shouldnt have an interst in how City do against Chelsea?

Sorry mate, I'm sure you're a decent bloke and I know I'm living in the dark ages here and will probably get slaughtered by other Bluemooners but...

...if he does follow NI football then great, stick to that, don't get involved in Liverpool stuff because its got f*ck all to with him in exactly the same way a Manc like me has no business following NI football.

I'm being very parochial I know, but if everyone just stuck to their home town club then the footballing world would be a much better place. We certainly wouldn't have dicks like Colin Murray (and Alan Green) spunking all over Liverpool and tw*ts like Eamon Holmes and Patrick Keilty getting a hard on every time they think about some place near Manchester that they have absolutely no connection with whatsoever. The closest connection these arseholes ever got to Manchester involved a parked van outside M&S.

Still who am I to complain about that particular incident...as Manford said no one got hurt and we got a new Next out of it!!

PS the fact that you can get to Manchester quicker than I can get to London has got F*ck all to do with it. Why the f*ck would I want to go to London unless of course it was to follow my HOME TOWN team.

Its extremely parochial and kinda small minded. I dont know how that would affect me...my family are from Manchester, yet i moved here as a kid....so can i support City? or cant i? Can i support my local NI team? or cant i as im not from here?

Does it really matter where you're from?

Hold on and ill call the Sheik and tell him to stick his money up his hole as he's "not from round these here parts uh-huh"

my point about the London thing was about locality...where do you draw the line as to where you are from before you can follow a team?

You're absolutely spot on mate. Sorry if I offended you. I'm not saying my view is the right one (in fact the opposite - I said I am being parochial and my thinking is from the dark ages) I'm just telling you what I believe.

You can support who the f*ck you like - freedom of choice and all that. The Sheikh can spend his money where and on whom he likes for the same reason.

If I had been born in NI however then I would have supported my home town team. To do anything else (particularly a prem club) smacks of being a bit sad and glory hunter like.

You say you moved there as a kid so you're not from NI anyway??? so what's your point fella?

Im not offended as such, i guess im in a weird situation that i see both sides of it. What you are saying suggests that if you are not living in Manchester, you shouldnt follow City (though i accept perhaps what your saying is if youre not from Manchester you shouldnt support City).

I was being facetious trying to prove a point about if i could support a NI team...if im not from here, can i support them? But i live local so surely i can support them....

ergo, I'm a cocker-knee barrah boi who has moved to Manchester...can i support City now?

I just find it strange that City fans dont want more City fans

In fairness, NI football is woeful...thats reason enough to follow the Premiership... ;-)

I THOUGHT HE LOOKED AS THOUGH HE HAD GROWN A PAIR OF TITS, THOUGHT IT WAS MY TELLY. HE WEARS GEAR OUT OF A PORN FILM, CAN"T STAND HIM.

So you are saying that you could guarantee that if you grew up in Northern Ireland, or Timbuktu for that matter, that you would support your local team? Growing up there, going to school, all the other kids are into football, but the premier league is all over the telly, you cant get away from it. Theyre all talking about the city/liverpool/chelsea results from the weekend when they go in on a monday, and you, 12 years old, would say not interested boys i'm only bothered about donegal celtics score from the weekend?

So what you're saying is people should only watch one team, the team they support, which must be from their home town, and no one else? I like to watch Spanish and German football to widen my knowledge of football and to learn about players before we see them in this country, but is that off-limits to you because I'm not Spanish or German?

What a pompous twat. Reminds me of David Baddiel, football is cool so he's on it. Hop off you speccy tit.

what has him wearing glasses got to do with anything?

anyway he's doing what he's told to do, he's far better than adrian chiles but the whole MOTD2 thing is shite.

he should stick to scottish football though, surely there must be an english guy who could do a better job.
What's him being Scottish got to do with anything? ;)
EDIT: He's not Scottish... woops.
