There is no point, he should die in prison as should all murdering nonces. Until they can alter that section of their brain that makes them that way they will never change. If they have to be strictly monitored once released they should be in the place where they are fully monitored, a prison cell.

The point is to save money and money should never be a factor in these decisions IMO.

This is it exactly. We're not talking about a bank robber or a drug dealer that could be rehabilitated and may not have killed anyone. We're talking about a psychopath who raped and murdered a young girl. He then had three years to reflect that was an horrendous thing to do and regret it. Did he do that? No the fucker obviously enjoyed it, thought it was easy as he'd got away with it, so he did it again. I don't care if he's grown a pair of fucking angel wings in prison, nothing is giving those girls their lives back or easing their relatives pain. He should be in prison until he dies. It's a fitting punishment for his crimes, well it is as he couldn't drop through a trapdoor with a rope around his neck.

Thanks for the explainer. I'm well aware of that. However, there is a distinction in my opinion. The emergency services use black humour legitimately to help cope with the horrors with which they're faced on daily basis. Regardless, I respect the right of others to express an opposing view. Hopefully, I don't receive the usual response from some which can be summarised as 'I disagree; therefore, you're a ****'. Have a good day.

I wasnt being and would not be all high and mighty I'm better than you. I will often joke about things that could be seen as in bad taste, if I didn't I could get depressed with all the shite going on around us. Murders and rapes on a daily basis, covid, Burma/Myanmar you name it the media make sure we see the worst of everything.
