Yes he did. I shouldn’t be texting half asleep.

I hope not.
There are much bigger issues in play here than just one match.
I understand dads and kids for a one off Wembley trip, but matched hardened fans should look at the bigger picture.
The Champions, never mind TREBLE WINNERS, should play at home at 3pm on a Saturday.
Nothing more....nothing less !!
That’s the way it used to be and should be in the future.
The FA ,and their councillors with faces like halloween cakes, must be brought to heel and this issue must not be allowed to whither on the vine.
BLUE FLAG BOYCOTT & PROTEST
So, back around 9pm and a early nights sleep?Moving the kickoff time ahead by only 90 minutes is ludicrous to me. It's one thing if the match is taking place on a Saturday, but 4pm on a Sunday is still an insult. Getting in and out of Wembley is always a pain, and the trip back to Manchester will take 3+ hours with traffic and the rest of it.
Is there any reason why the match couldn't have been moved ahead from the Sunday to the Saturday?
Keep bumping this blues. If every supporter gives a quid or two irrespective of whether you plan to boycott the game or not then they can absolutely smash the target and make a real impact that the media can pick up on.MCFC Supporters Boycott of 2023 Charity Shield @ Wembley

Apologies regards burtons shop window but I’m still not having it on your attendance predictions although to those who do go have a great day. I am firmly on board with the boycott despite having attended numerous CS games. If we keep allowing football’s governing bodies to ride rough shot over the fans things will never changeHey it was the other guy who mentioned Burtons not me.
It’s hard to guess a crowd when it’s so far off capacity. From memory, I don’t seem to remember Leicester having noticeably more than us so I just guessed about half the attendance.
Anyway, no point arguing about something that hasn’t happened yet. But my guess would be 25,000 won’t be too far off the mark this time.
The Sheikh says” yeh, just give us enough notice so we can order enough beer and muffins “Have you checked with the treble winners to see if they want to play at home pre season?
Not mentioned your forfeit for the wager yet...;)Apologies regards burtons shop window but I’m still not having it on your attendance predictions although to those who do go have a great day. This is not just about the CS. Its every time that fans have to put up with this shit. The first time the champions were given the option to host the match was Arsenal v City in 1934 at Highbury and the match was played on a Wednesday.
It's been held on a Sunday since 1994, with 2021 being the exception. Kick off times have varied, but was previously 1600hrs in 94, 95 and 2016.

Yes - but that is because the League Cup will start afrer a couple of other PL games have taken place before it.It (now) kicks off half an hour earlier then LC finals do at the same venue, on the same day.
