Yes we have.
And the white block will also go onsale if we request it.
The 2 grey areas will also be released pending further sales.
The fact is you thought that it would bomb out, with circa 5000 supporters going and now you see the reality, you and many others are shocked.
The triple has opened up a whole new support base and whether us legacy fans like it or not they are hear to stay and will take our place,if we don't want to attend matches .
Which is exactly what the hierarchy of the club want.

.

Shocked? FFS!

You really do know how to exaggerate things.

Nobody is shocked by our level of new support before and after winning the CL and doing the treble, or what the club does to sell tickets to new City fans. Real Madrid at home in the CL SF being the prime example.

I'd be more shocked if City put the FOC legacy City fans first. :-)

You’re right. It doesn’t normally drop as rapidly as that. The club when announcing the criteria would’ve taken the boycott into account for sure. I don’t see it as undermining the boycott though. Even if everyone at the club unanimously agreed with it, they could never come out and support it partly because - as we ourselves have acknowledged - plenty of fans would still want to go. Therefore, they have to make tickets available to as many fans as they can which is something they’ve not always done for certain games and fans have been denied the chance of buying tickets. And even though it’s 4 tickets per member and junior member, those members and junior members still have to get 3 other people to cough up and make a commitment by getting up off their backside to undertake a journey to London. The criteria suits families where only one person might be a member but everyone in the family wants to go.
You’ve done more in this one event than the OSC has done ever. You have shown good morals, got huge publicity, and got the fa to change the time. 1894 group can be rightly proud

It's a few years away yet, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how City sell the additional 6000 seats being created by the North stand expansion. And the percentage of new season tickets (made available) v matchday tickets.

One major caveat to bear in mind is Pep may not be our manager by then?

You’re spot on Chappie. I’m not a ST holder but attend most home games, however I’m dreading the prices for individual match tickets next season, but if I am priced out there are plenty who will take my place.
I’m expecting them to slightly more than last year ,probably 3% ish more. I don’t know know your circumstances, but I would guess many matchday ticket buyers are in my situation where I live a fair distance from Manchester now and the cost of a game is travel, accomodation ( which has rocketed) meals so a few pounds on the ticket while not ideal doesn’t actual make any real difference to my calculation of how many games a season I can manage, the other expenses have far more impact. I’ll be in the queue on Thursday for my usual 4 league games then just add 2 or 3 cup games as and when.

It also suits new fans who want to see us play, as we are champions of Europe so can get a membership there and then and bring people along (who don’t usually get the chance to see City)

So the 3 hour time slot fast tracked meant that new people are going. This criteria was announced publicly before tickets went on sale. So if Blues boycotting were worried about losing out they knew they had to buy in those first 2 days.

But in the first 2 days they didn’t shift. Even with the prior knowledge you had a linited window to guarantee your seat. So the club gave decided if regulars are not gonna go we need anyone to fill it. Otherwise criteria would have been seasoncards for a week coming down 2,000 a day (not 20,000 a day) and matchday members 1 ticket each (not 4 each)

Club had realised prior to sale a lot of long standing fans were gonna go through with it. So its the club saving face. Those fans who usually go everywhere sacrificed a game to make a point and yet club’s pre determined selling criteria meant they could override any rebellion by saying to fans you’ve got 3 hours to guarantee your ticket and we will get Newbies in.

When sales picked up on friday and apparent to all more than 15k going the boycott beaten you get seasoncards holders then buying too to ensure they don’t miss out.
I think you make a good point that some SC holders have been caught out - they understandably would’ve thought that we never sell out CS games at Wembley and would’ve been relaxed about buying tickets next week, only to find demand went through the roof when it opened up to Cityzens.

The demand caught me out too. I thought that even if there was no boycott then we wouldn’t have come close to selling out, even if it was 10 tickets per member. And that’s despite me being aware that winning the CL has seen our fanbase go up another level or three.

You'd be pretty shocked by the behaviour of some of the people in charge of the branches regrading the boycott. Some of them really are too close to the club.

Agree on this - the club owners are custodians for the core fans and once we have a few so-so seasons after Pep goes in two years they probably won’t give a shit as they’ll just pivot to a new money making strategy but it won’t be as easy for them then. Pep is the brains behind the football and the major draw for top players. His departure changes a lot with regards interest in the club. I’m sure Chelsea are feeling that right now. United and Liverpool could have Gerry Creaney up front and they’d still sell out to tourists.

The match should have been Manchester City v Manchester City as we won both competitions. Played at the Etihad and not televised.
That selfish not having on television so the now house bound supporter who once were regular match goers can't watch it.
