They're showing themselves up with comments like that. Okay 4pm on a Sunday maybe the norm for 3000-4000 travelling fans but not 10x that amount. FA again show themselves to be out of touch.

I'm getting tired of the authorities that run football here and in Europe. They absolutely couldn't give one fuck about the fans, not one. They know they have us over a barrel due to our emotional connection to our clubs. Unless fans start taking a stand they will continue to shaft us forever.

R u going ?
Yes - I’ve decided to in this instance and it’s a chance to take my 4 and 6 year olds to Wembley. I’ve been going to Wembley since the Gillingham match and the buzz won’t wear off for me. However, that seems irrelevant to my point. I think there are worse injustices than this and most people don’t want to go as it’s a glorified friendly and it’s costly to travel down, plus plenty probably on holiday. I understand that but then it’s also understandable that some fans who can’t afford a season ticket (like my family when I was a kid) get a chance to see them at Wembley. I just fundamentally think there would be more effective protests than this.

Agree completely on this. Whatever your view, it seems the Arsenal end will be full and our’s won’t. Checked on Arse website and it has sold out to Red Members. Get all the factors and they are local but it’s still going to look embarrassing potentially and won’t be picked up as a ‘protest’.

Why do you care so much about what others fans think?

We as in who? I certainly haven't boycotted any game?
All them game you have mentioned haven't been available to probably around 80-90% of city fans ....now tickets are available these people who wernt able to go are being mocked.
I predict we will probably sell about three quarters of the tickets (as per usual for this game) , which is a shame as it should be selling out, to see , possibilly the best city team we will ever see .
If you think a so called boycott is going to change things you need to look closer to home. Sat 8pm kos ,ticket prices going up again. . It's a money game mate and a few 1000 city fans not rocking up at wembley won't affect anything.
All it does is make our fanbase look shite again.
Maybe people can't afford it , I get that , but telling people not go to a game to support their team when it is possible to get back and there are lower priced tickets is just wrong.

We may as well just accept everything then and never protest or take a stand. Fans protesting has led to cheap away tickets and safe standing so it clearly does make a difference.

Fan protesting works, it led to the cap on away tickets in the league when we used to get charged £50-60 10+ years ago (God knows how much that would be now in today’s money), cap on away tickets in Europe at €70, stopped the ESL etc.

It needs everyone to say no and not to go, but that hasn’t happened. Those who do go shouldn’t buy anything in the ground. Don’t give those thieves (the FA) any extra money, they don’t deserve anything since they have the audacity to charge almost 30 quid for 4 cans of Budweiser and mark it as a “deal” during a cost of living crisis. All they care about is money, the boycott will have a stronger effect if we can cut off more of their revenue

Whilst I agree with you, ticket sales are a miniscule amount of income. All Premier League clubs are fully self-sustainable even if they didn't sell one match ticket all season. There's too much money in the game at that level.

Fans boycotting are doing one thing and one thing only, preventing themselves from doing the one thing they love; watching City. No boycott or protest is going to do anything. The money is there, the suits will never care about us.

I'm off to Wembley but support those boycotting. Unfortunately, nothing will come of it and people in time will realise they are wasting their efforts. The only way change happens is if the head honchos are repeatedly threatened and targeted with violence and hounded out of stadiums. That's not going to happen in a civilised country like England, fortunately or unfortunately.

How many people on here hand on heart would have gone to this game anyway. Be honest it’s a part of being a successful club. We win trophies. We get more games. Stop bullying the fans who want to go. It’s city at Wembley. If you are going to enjoy looking at empty seats in our end from a bar in Manchester I think you don’t really love this team and what they have just achieved. Ok this might not go down well but I have been a blue for 50 years. So I will support my team.

And yet, they keep putting the prices up, year on year.

Absolute bullshit. If there are loads of empty seats trust me it will be mentioned and talked about on every media platform out there.

While dickheads like you keep on turning up no matter what the kick off time them this shitshow will continue.
