And that's bullying !
Hell I've/we've been told we're not real fans, we don't support the club, we should be ashamed etc eetc.im not even allowed to ding 'follow you everywhere anymore.
The shame of it is, its now turning blue against blue.

That always happens in heated subjects. If nobody takes a stand nothing ever changes. It's like strikes and unions. I used to work with people not in the union and who slagged them off all the time. They didn't realise that every single benefit they enjoyed at work had been fought for over the years by the very union they hated so much. Personally I believed every pay rise we successfully negotiated they shouldn't have got, they should have had to negotiate their own.

I have seen a picture somewhere of 29,000 in the queue for tickets so we may sell out anyway. If we do it will be a sign of how big we have grown globally as a club. It will also be a worry as it will give the club a green light to raise prices even further, as they know we will sell the tickets anyway to the tourists and YouTubers happy to pay the price.

I don't see how having a different opinion on a football forum makes me a dickhead. Who do you think you are?

Not a dickhead lol. You are right though I was wrong to call you that and apologise. I need to check the time I posted it I may have been a little inebriated at the time.

1:18 am yes definitely pissed as I'm on holiday lol.

Not bullying as such bud, just lacking the ability to show someone basic levels of respect.

I predicted less than 10,000 attendees (won't use blues or fans, as half of those will be people dragged along for a day out) and I stand by it! It's almost on open sale already and I'd be surprised if 5,000 have been sold.

Well done to those that have said enough is enough. Personally I believe City should have made an early decision to send and EDS/U19's team and organised a friendly in the North of England. Maybe a game against Everton, Burnley or Sheffield United, with 100% of money raised to go to local charities.

Nobody wants this nonsense imposition of a game anymore. City will barely be fit, and Arsenal will certainly win anyway as Guardiola will hold players back. In short, it's a chore for the club and fans, and it needs scrapping asap.

I'd suggest you take a look after this morning's sales. Far more than 5,000 sold

You're wrong, totally wrong but you're too blind to see it, as are all the others going. If our end was totally empty on that day it would send shockwaves through the fa and our club. It's not about the revenue and whether clubs are making a lot of money out of fans attending or not. Without fans football is nothing. It's reduced to a fucking FIFA computer game, as the covid lockdowns proved. A souless sterile experience nobody wants and if it continued for more than one season everybody would turn it off. This game is the perfect one to make a stand. It's being shown live around the world and is the showpiece game to herald the start of the new season. The fans that go are the reason nothing changes or ever will. They can spout any drivel they want as to why they are going, but those that do don't come on here whining when they can't make a game because the kick off is too late again, or they've missed the last train home and had to sleep on the station. As for supporting the club, why aren't they supporting us?? I've still not heard one word from them about the shambles our fans were subjected to in Istanbul, or this late kick off on a Sunday 200 miles away. Is it hard not going? Yes it is but a stand has to be taken, enough is enough.
Great post hitting the nail on the head. Well said

Had a look a short while ago - either 10,000 or so have sold this morning alone or City have taken loads off the planner! I wasn't gauging sales at 10am though when it went down to Cityzens with 2 games attended last season and only logged on over an hour or so later so I couldn't tell if they were flying off the shelves or whether City had removed thousands off the planner. Perhaps someone who had a closer eye on it than me can clarify?

There was a big queue this morning and tickets were disappearing very quickly. Think they are genuine tbh. A lot who missed out on the European Cup and FA Cup final's wanting to go. Specifically Cityzens members etc.
