No doubt if the Goons win it will be a marker for the season but if we win its only a friendly , i have little interest in the result but if its anything like last season when the Dippers were awarded the league title and Nunez player of the season after the thrashing they handed out :) i will have a chuckle when the Goons get similar treatment with Rice is named as a potential Balon D'Or winner.
What really matters is May 2024 and who the trophies are handed out to.

Actually forgot this was happening. Not sure if it’s because I’ve been busy at work or every time I think of the treble, I can’t be fazed.

As usual, lose it, and the end is near. Win it and it’s only a friendly.

Just an opportunity to get more minutes in the legs for me. Good opposition to do that against too. Hoping for a good runout and no injuries.

I am seriously thinking of stopping my DD for the Licence! Especially as I had one of those (false) letters saying my payment had failed and to send money to that link, GET LOST.


Just realised one of our players did get a mention. It was Our Jack; the school team (she said yr 7 but try looked older) who are on before the Leopards at Wembley were asked how they’d celebrate if they won. They replied ‘we’d do a Jack Grealish and go to the pub’!

It’s SOOOOO easy to cancel the license.
